how to be awesome
- set rice and water to boil, forget to turn down to simmer, do this twice
- leave your trash cans on the curb for at least 24 hours after they have been emptied
- never iron
- run out of toilet paper, curse, buy costco size and leave it in the family room for three days
- mac and cheese three times a week
- cut, organize and obsess over coupons, then let them expire
- make a plan to eat less and move more, then immediately eat more and move less
- forget no less than 3 appointments each week
- reschedule those appointments and forget at least 2
- write yourself reminder emails and frequently send them to friends instead of yourself
- leave your cell phone everywhere and never know exactly where it is
- if you send birthday cards make sure they are very late or very very early
- stains and missing buttons
- weeds
- typos
- fat
- always forget at least one thing when leaving the house (so far, not one of the children)
- watch reality tv
- put at least eight holes in the wall to hang one picture
- never return phone calls
are you awesome?

i'm very nearly all the way there!
Oh wow, that is me to a T. I'm so awesome. I would also add to that list, wash clothes and let them pile up on bed in spare room. Who has time to fold?
You are awesome.
This list is only part of why you're awesome
I think you're being too hard on yourself... isn't all this stuff just 'normal' mom behavior?
I am well on my way to being totally awesome...swap top ramen for mac and cheese and I am even closer. We missed you these past few days!

yes i am awesome.
Emily... I am more awesome. I do the stuff on that list and have no children, therefore no excuse. Here's a few more good ones: pay my COBRA on the last possible day of the month - schedule my sister's wedding shower at the last minute and still not send out invites (yet) - buy two boxes of wheat thins because they are on sale and can always be mixed with a can of soup for lunch or dinner. This is why I love and miss you!!!
Ha! Loved this! So many fit with my awesomeness including:
-Not returning phone calls
-Buy a huge thing of tp and leaving it lying around for days. In our case in our entry where I complained about it when trying to go down the stairs but still didn't MOVE it.
-Mac 'n cheese, although I think it is more like 2 here
-I can't throw away a coupon but I forget to use it or put it up on my microwave where it gets lost and then expires. Then of course I can throw it.
-Birthday cards. I'm HORRIBLE about this. Always arrives at a day or two late because I'm mailing it out only the day before their birthday. I also usually forget to call on birthdays. But I do always buy a gift!
Sigh...at least I'm not the only one that is awesome!
I am 18 of these things awesome. Like I did all 18 in just the last week. That must make more mostly super awesome, right?
