WHY are you talking on your cell phones in the car and WHY don't you think it's a bad idea?
am i just the lone nerd here? i thought everyone knew it was dangerous, have i been living in a bubble?

I think it is really dangerous. Whenever Jon calls I ask if he is driving if the answer is yes I tell him I will talk to him when I gets home. I used to never use the phone in the car, although I have been to known to have Fuller hold it and answer or make calls for me. Now I have hands free link in the car so I do answer the phone (it rarely rings) What's your opinion about that? I have heard that it is still dangerous because it takes your concentration away from driving. It seems like 90% of the time if you see someone doing something stupid on the road they are talking on a cell phone.
I'll admit to using my cell phone while driving. Of course, I don't actually own a car right now and usually when I use it I am on a hands free set which I guess is supposedly dangerous too but my question is how does that compare with talking to someone in the car?
i don't know about hands free. i try to avoid the phone in and OUT of the car (pretty obvious since i never make and effort to answer- sorry.)
i have used the phone in the car before, but i feel like a big fat jerk sinner when i do. i am not surprised anyone does it, i am surprised they don't think it's a big deal.
cars are big and can squash you like a bug. pay attention!
several studies have indicated that hands free is not safer.
