6th day of christmas... cabbage patch kids!

i could only find one of the cabbage patch kids i had. her name was renita corona. yes, corona.

my sister and i were terrible with surprises (and we still are). my parent's finally resorted to hiding toys in a locked closet. sadly we quickly found the key. i knew about renita before christmas. and i am embarrassed to say i played with the twin boys i got the next year days before christmas. yep, i opened the box and took 'em out. i was terrible!

how in the world did these get popular with commercials like these... and how did she get a "sarah anne"? i got beer!!

I had Celia Ann because some neighbors had one too many so my mom bought her from them. I later had a boy from Spain in a matador outfit, I think his name was Lionel. Which does not make sense with the Spain thing.

yeah i had the homemade version too. her body was a bean bag, and i don't think she had a name. i don't even remember giving her a name. i wasn't really into dolls.
