salsa!

my neighborhood salsa genius-es are taking their production on the road. clean out your savings account and get there early, this salsa unspeakably yummy.

from alicia:

We will be setting up shop at the 'My Petite Boutique' in Sandy on Saturday, June 27, from 10am - 5 pm, 2105 E. Alta Canyon Drive. We will be making and selling a few Mexican fares but the HIGHLIGHT will be the assortment of gourment salsas and organic corn chips you'll have the benefit of purchasing to take home and hoarde. Yes, Luis's salsas are that good...

For more details about the boutique, please visit: http://www.ourpetiteboutique.com/event-details.htm

If you can't make it to the boutique, please feel free to pay us a visit to our home in Midvale. Salsa Day is every Thursday, where we prepare the freshest, most authentic salsa in the valley. We'll gladly take your order over the phone and have it ready for pick up or you're invited to simply stop in for a free sample of our wares. We're also happy to impart to you our salsa-sock-knocking-off skills as we teach you a variety of ways to use and cook with your new salsa. Yessirree, chips aren't the only food lucky enough to deliver Lui's salsa to your palate! We are here to open the eyes and mouths of every salsa-lover to a whole new world... indeed, it is our very mission in life. To thrill and delight you with creative and delicious combinations, some straight out of Mexico, some straight out of Lui's brain!

if you want some of the weekly haul, email me. i'll get you directions.

Got Allergies?
Food allergies, dietary restrictions, or preferences? Please let us know.

We’ll try hard to accommodate your needs, but please consider that we do have the Big Eight (milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, soy and wheat) in our restaurant and we can’t guarantee the absence of cross contact. In addition, because we offer so many unique flavors, not every ingredient we use is listed in our menu descriptions. At Noodles & Company, we offer many ways to customize your dish, including vegetarian options (which we define as including eggs, all cheeses and dairy products). Please feel free to let us know how we can best serve you. Got questions? Contact us through our feedback form.

can't you just tell me if your noodles have eggs????

the outtakes

on wednesday the boys were models for babysteals.com.  the best photos were not on the site...

i love my kids:

somebody asked me...

...if we had any see kai runs left over at babysteals.com .  i cannot remember who, so i thought i'd just share the link with you all.   quantities are small, so be quick.  and i am the updater of the archive so if you order after we have sold out but before i have updated the page, my apologies...

y'all should plan ahead

when i have a girl... i'm going to NEED this.  not want.  NEED.  it's all the style i love in one perfect little dress.  perfect.

the weekend in crappy iphone pics

there was one rule this past weekend.  mama needed to be far far away from the house.  we drove all over the place and happily did it pretty cheap!

hiking- there were lots LOTS of stops to look at and coddle bugs.  yes, coddle.  "ooooo, wiwwle bebe bug!"

poofy head.  lots of stops for those too.

quick trip to the zoo, we have a membership so we didn't feel bad about staying for under an hour.  i wish i had a photo of the weeb's face when ethan surprised him with the monkey mask.

this is not the wilderness.  it's our backyard.  we're awesome.

they were SO excited about the river.  we are absolutely going back soon.  WHY haven't we been appreciating the beauty 10 minutes from our house?  utah may be a little wonky socially, but you can't beat the landscapes.

ok.  take note.  this is dinner at denny's.  yes, denny's. if you have kids you understand the need to go somewhere nobody will notice screaming kids.  i was pleasantly surprised by the menu.not the food, the menu.  best kids menu anywhere. (best in selection NOT nutrition).  anyhoo, don't knock the denny's.
