preschool graduation!

a child's graduation of any sort is a sad and happy day for a mother.  happy because of the celebration, sad because your little one is getting bigger.  and for me, sad because i let the kids watch movies at night the week before graduation.  4yo was sleepy and worn out, and it showed.  at least his hair was awesome.  i'd kill for his hair.

he had a part in the program, saying a little turtle poem.  he totally killed it. it spoke loudly and clearly and had the whole thing memorized.  i was so proud!

hires lunch in photos

i find the best photos on ethan's phone.  4yo is responsible for these.

bring your pet to preschool day

4yo had bring your pet to preschool day and uncle logan and aunt janelle were nice enough to bring cosmo the bird over to borrow, since poor kids parent's are not interested in ever owning a pet of any kind.  yeah, i know.  we're jerks.

anyhoo, the morning of preschool 4yo woke up and puked.  so he missed bring your pet to preschool day.  by noon he was mostly better, after one more puke incident.  the bird missed preschool, but did a great job babysitting my kids.

a few days after he left 3yo found one of his feathers and asked ethan to give it back to uncle logan.  :)

new baby nephew!

earlier this month meghan stopped by with her new little guy. it was great practice for everyone, since we have all forgotten what a little baby is like.

st george april 2010

i'm really behind with this blogging thing. since i don't (and most likely never will) scrapbook i have to document here!

in april our friends the dahl-russells* invited us on their spring break trip to st. george. i was so very excited to go and wasn't disappointed. it was warm! warm! warm! and the kids all had a blast with only minimal meltdowns.

enjoy the show.

*please note, alison does not insist on her family hyphenating her name, it's just what we call them. just like the pope-beesleys, the metcalf-wilsons and my favorite, the brown-childs.
